Services

Tree maintenance and plant health care

We handle the structural work that keeps a tree safe and the health care that keeps it growing.

Core Tree Maintenance

Pruning and Trimming

Removing dead, diseased, or damaged branches to improve canopy airflow, stimulate healthy growth, and prevent structural hazards.

Strategic Planting

Advising on appropriate tree species, placement, and proper planting techniques for long-term survival.

Tree Risk Assessment

Inspecting a tree's structure, defects, and surroundings to judge how likely it is to fail, what it could strike, and what to do about it.

Soil Care

Managing soil compaction and nutrient deficiencies through aeration and fertilization.

Plant Health Care (PHC)

Disease and Pest Management

Diagnosing bacterial, fungal, or insect issues and applying targeted treatments like spraying, injections, or soil amendments.

Fertilization and Soil Management

Providing deep-root fertilization and soil aeration to improve nutrient uptake and root growth.

Root Collar Excavation

Removing excess soil and mulch from the base of the trunk to expose the root flare and uncover girdling roots or decay.

Landscape Health Care

Working on health concerns across the landscape, including bushes and perennials.

Why certified

What ISA Certified means for your trees

The International Society of Arboriculture certifies arborists who have documented experience in the field and passed a comprehensive exam covering tree biology, pruning, diagnosis, soil management and safe work practices. The credential has to be renewed, with continuing education required to keep it.

We are also Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ), an ISA qualification in a standardized method for judging how likely a tree is to fail and what it could damage if it does. We hold the ISA Prescription Pruning Qualification as well, which covers writing pruning specifications suited to an individual tree, along with horticulturist accreditation through the Indiana Nursery & Landscape Association.

For you, that means advice grounded in how trees actually grow, from where to make a pruning cut to which species suits your site.
